• How do Private Email Domains from TDS work?

  Private Email

  A private email service is one that you own and control. There’s no scanning and reselling of your email information to large retailers, advertising groups, or data brokers.

  Before a message enters your mailbox, it undergoes a series of multi-level tests before entering your private system.

  Domains are "privatized" to jeep your listing out of the internet's "white pages."

• What is a VPN, and how does it work?

  With a VPN, no one can see where you are, what you are doing, whom you are talking to, or what you are talking about.

  A VPN will protect you anywhere the world, all the time, including cell signals.

• Do you recommend using a password manager?

  Yes! We absolutely recommend using a password manager. Our top recommendation for password managers is LastPass.

  

• What about freezing credit files?

  "Whether your personal information has been stolen or not, your best protection against someone opening new credit accounts in your name is the security freeze (also known as the credit freeze), not the often offered, under achieving credit monitoring."

  Yes, we recommend freezing your credit file.

  Here are some guidelines.

  There are three credit bureaus and each must be contacted with your freeze order;

  1. Experian -  https://www.experian.com/freeze/
  2. Equifax - https://www.freeze.equifax.com/  
  3. Transunion - http://www.transunion.com/securityfreeze
     • Each bureau will provide you a PIN to use to control, your account.
     • The PIN allows you to unfreeze anytime you are applying for credit, and then re-freeze when complete.
     • Freezes can be lifted by you with your PIN for any length of time between one day and one year.
     • The freeze/unfreeze activity does not affect your credit score.

   

  It’s a little bit tedious on the front-end, but then; you're done! And it makes a big difference toward shoring in risk to financial fraud. 

• What can you do about email spam?

  Spam has become more than a nuisance that puts a drag on our productivity and sense of enjoyment from email.  In fact, personal email accounts are now the #1 source of risk for ID theft, financial fraud, extortion, and worse - when you consider the fast-paced convergence of cybercrime with physical crime taking place today.
